Diversity tour has totally changed my paradigm about people of other religion. At my home I used to treat people of other religion harshly, my housemaid (who is a Christian) could not drink water from glass that I used, she had her own glass, this was because I thought that people of other religion are impure. After attending YDF’s diversity tour, I realized that people of other religions are also same as we are and they should be treated as we treat our Muslim brothers. Interacting with people of other religions somehow changed how I see things. Now I never treat my housemaid as I did previously. We consider them as part of our family; she can also drink from the same glass that I use.”

I have always had absurd ideas and stereotypes about people belonging to other religions. In our schools and homes, we were taught that the people of other religions are awful; they worship idols and false gods. However, all of this has changed after I attended diversity tour organized by YDF. I thank God that I am free of hateful ideas that I possessed about other religions. I have realized that all religions can live in peace, if they put down their hateful ideas. I really appreciate the work and efforts of YDF in spreading peace and harmony in the intolerant society of Pakistan. There work is the need of time in Pakistan

I did not know about any other religions before attending this program. But after attending this session I came to know that all the religions like Islam, Christianity, Hinduism and Sikhism preach humanity and love as a common message. The concept of interfaith harmony and peace is very much similar too. If we want peace in society we should live together with unity. I will try to bring positive change in my own personality as well as in society
